Did you know that was me?

I was getting tired of people sounding off on facebook. They stand on their christian values and feel entitled to be upset that America voted in Health Care Reform. Obviously the ones with money... I look into the sad eyes of the people wandering the street with no place to go. No one can take them in, many are insane. Who cares? Not the fucking health care system in our country. So.. another one of my larks, I started the group "The people who refuse to turn Facebook into a political forum" Part of me is quietly alarmed, and the other part is laughing her ass off as usual.
Its tough being me.
I may have to delete the group, or skip the country. Sitting back and watching.

All I keep thinking is that our previous president could've set Washington DC on fire and no one would have said anything. This president poops at the wrong time and he's in trouble.

Dear Leah, you are new and you have seventeen followers? Looks to me like you know what you are doing.

Lol you're right, facebook shouldn't be a political forum. But on the other hand you should address people where you know you'll get the most response. And in the end if you look how many groups people join every day and how stupid they are (I mean ... for example xy became a fan of "cleveage")

I don't really know much about the health care reform because I live on the other side of the world but.. is it really that bad?

The reform part we won't know until it hits the fan.
The health care in our country is deplorable. Sadly people lose thier homes and lives because of lack of good health care. We have the greatest doctors in the world but the greater part of the population cannot afford them. I believe insurance should be abolished and we should go to socialized medicine so that it is fairly available to all people. Not just the ones with money. I believe health care is a right! Who is going to serve your country if everyone is too sick to do so?

Well I think so too ... I know Michael Moore overreated a bit but still ... if a person has to choose between having a home and being healthy.. there's probably something wrong.

We have a similar system here. It's not perfect and waiting time can be a bit long if it's not urgent but I never had to reject treatment. And I had quite a few medical problems in my childhood. I can't imagine I (or my parents) would have to pay for all the tests and surgeries. :/ But you do get a bill now, just for information so that you can see how much money the country spends on you and feel guilty. :)

Nice blog, btw :)
